Amanda is an Attorney at Shannon & Associates, P.C., focusing her practice on criminal and civil litigation. Amanda previously served for several years as a prosecutor in Chesapeake, where she handled primarily adult felony cases. Amanda has litigated complex felony matters and developed special interests in animal law and driving under the influence offenses. Beyond her practice, Amanda serves on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Conference (YLC) of the Virginia State Bar, the Women’s Division of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce Chesapeake (WDHRCCC), the Chesapeake Division of the Hampton Roads Chamber, ABBA List, and the Portsmouth Humane Society. Amanda lives in Chesapeake with her husband, where the two enjoy opening their home to shelter dogs as volunteers and fosters with local shelters.
