Danielle “Dani” Bergman is a native of South Norfolk, Virginia, graduating as Salutatorian from Oscar F. Smith High School. She attended college at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise on a full academic scholarship and an athletic scholarship for fastpitch softball. Dani graduated magna cum laude from UVA-Wise with a B.A. in History and Government and a minor in Communications while also leading the Lady Cavaliers softball team and earning the title of NAIA Appalachian Athletic Conference and NAIA Region XII Pitcher of the Year in 2006.



Dani attended Appalachian School of Law (ASL) also on a full academic scholarship and graduated in 2009 in the top ten of her law school class. In law school, she served her school and community in numerous ways, including acting as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children from 2007 through 2009. Additionally, Dani was the Senior Articles Editor on the Appalachian Law Review and co-captained the ASL Co-Rec Softball Team that claimed the championship at the 2009 University of Virginia Law School Invitational Co-Rec Tournament.



After graduating law school in 2009, Dani got her Colorado law license and then her Virginia license in 2023. Since beginning her practice, Dani has handled complex civil litigation matters representing clients in a wide variety of cases. At Parks Zeigler, Dani focuses her practice on providing exceptional legal counsel to the firm’s clients in civil litigation and family law matters.



When Dani is not working, Dani enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing at the beach, hiking, traveling, and serving the Chesapeake community by volunteer coaching high school softball and pitching and volunteer coaching young children in the sports of soccer, basketball and baseball.
