Matthew Wooten

President

Matthew Wooten, a Chesapeake native, graduated from Greenbrier Christian Academy before going on to obtain a degree in International Business from Liberty University. He then returned home to complete his legal education at Regent University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Wooten was active on the Trial Advocacy Board and participated in trial competitions across the east coast. Mr. Wooten also interned with Plumlee & Overton, P.C. during law school before graduating and joining the firm as a full time attorney. Although Mr. Wooten’s practice consists predominantly of Criminal, Traffic and DUI defense, Personal Injury and Civil Litigation, he also has experience with contracts, estate planning and other transactional matters. Mr. Wooten is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Criminal Law section of the Virginia State Bar and the Chesapeake Bar Association. Mr. Wooten lives in Chesapeake where he is active in his church and enjoys playing softball and golf.
