A Night of Insight: Exploring the Ethics of A.I. in Law

The Chesapeake Bar Association recently hosted a CLE event that left attendees energized, informed, and eager for more. Centered on the timely and thought-provoking topic Ethics of A.I. in Law, this gathering brought together legal professionals for an evening of meaningful discussion and forward-looking insight.

We were honored to welcome Kellam Parks, partner at Parks Zeigler, PLLC, as our presenter. His expertise and engaging approach helped unpack one of the most pressing issues facing the legal profession today. From ethical considerations to practical implications, attendees walked away with a deeper understanding of how artificial intelligence is reshaping the legal landscape—and what it means for their practice.

Adding to the experience was the opportunity to showcase the brand-new law library at the Chesapeake Central Library. The modern space provided the perfect backdrop for both learning and connection, highlighting the continued importance of accessible, community-centered legal resources.

But what truly made the evening stand out was the atmosphere. Conversations extended beyond the presentation, connections were strengthened, and ideas continued to flow long after the session concluded. It’s moments like these that remind us why these events matter.

If you couldn’t join us this time, we encourage you not to miss what’s next. The Chesapeake Bar Association is committed to delivering engaging, relevant programming that keeps our legal community informed and connected. Future events promise even more opportunities to learn, network, and be part of the conversations shaping the future of law.

Stay tuned—we look forward to seeing you at the next event.
